Original yellow tea from Anhui province.

The traditional technology for producing yellow tea involves a technological stage called “simmering” - after roasting and shaping, the tea is wrapped in thick cloth or paper and left to simmer for several days at a temperature of about 50 degrees. As a result, the tea changes appearance, becomes slightly yellowish and develops a unique aroma and flavor profile.

Aroma: bright, expressive, with notes of black currant and flowers.

Taste: juicy, refreshing, slightly tart, with nectar, berry and floral notes and a long, sweet aftertaste.

Effect: relaxing, intoxicating.

Harvest: spring 2023, Anhui province, China.

How to brew: We recommend using a thin-walled porcelain gaiwan or glass teapot. Water 80–85 °C for a balanced taste, 90–95 °C for a bright, tart and strong tea, 70–75 °C for a soft and sweet infusion. You can brew it using the “lazy” cooking method by simmering the tea at a water temperature of 65-85 °C for about 10 minutes.
