Black tea Dian Hong Bi Luo "Golden Snail", 2023, 50g
If you're looking for a tea that's easy to carry in a small bag or tea infuser, without worrying about the integrity of the leaves, and then just toss a pinch into a cup, pour boiling water, wait 3 minutes, sip, and feel uplifted... look no further. You've found what you seek.
Our Dian Hong Bi Luo (滇红碧螺) is crafted from tea buds. A "bud" is a fluffy tea bud of small or medium size along with the first tender leaf.
In the 2023 harvest, there are more buds and higher-grade raw materials compared to 2022, resulting in a flavor that's finer, brighter, and more expressive.
Aroma: Notes of red berries and buttery pastry.
Flavor: Sweet, bready, with wheat and berry undertones and a noble astringency.
Pay attention to the amount of tea and steeping time, as these spirals brew quickly and can easily turn to berry astringency.
Effects: Warms, calms, and replenishes energy.
Harvest: Spring 2023, Yunnan province, China.
Brewing Instructions: For steeping, use 4 grams of tea per 250 ml of water and wait 3-4 minutes.
