Aged Sheng Pu-erh Tea from Tea Trees
Description: Fully mature Sheng Pu-erh without hints of greenness, mustiness, or cellar-like odors. Stored for 17 years in a warehouse with an ideal, controlled humidity balance, which largely defined the character of this tea.
Aroma: Honey-dried fruit, tobacco, camphor, complex.
Taste: Soft, clean, rounded, velvety. The first cups reveal notes of plum, dried fruits, and spicy herbs. These evolve into camphor and even tobacco notes with a honeyed undertone as the tea continues to open. No sharpness—strict and noble.
Effect: Meditative, noticeably intoxicating. It immerses you completely in its flavor palette.
Production: 2006, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
Format: 357 grams cake.
Brewing Instructions: Use boiling water for brightness, moderate astringency, and powerful effect. Use 5 grams of tea per 100 ml of water, and brew in a gaiwan or Yixing teapot.
