Aged, powerful, and vibrant Sheng Pu-erh from the ancient tea trees of Yiwu Mountains
Description: Fully mature Sheng Pu-erh without hints of greenness. Stored for 17 years in a warehouse with an ideal, controlled humidity balance, which largely defined the character of this tea.
Aroma: Complex, spicy-woody, nutty-grainy, with notes of decayed leaves, tobacco, camphor, prunes, and dried berries.
Taste: Clean, voluminous, velvety, expressive. Notes of decayed leaves, dried fruits, camphor, slightly astringent chokeberry, dried honeyed apples, and berries. No excessive sharpness, excellent balance, noble and soft.
Effect: Powerful, meditatively intoxicating, relaxing. Fully immerses you in its palette of flavors and aromas.
Production: 2006, ancient trees of the Yiwu Mountains, Mengla County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
Format: 400 grams cake.
Brewing Instructions: Use boiling water for brightness, moderate astringency, and a powerful effect. Use 5 grams of tea per 100 ml of water, and brew in a gaiwan or Yixing teapot.
