Our technician selected the right materials: small leaves for effect, large leaves for a prolonged flavor, and buds for a rich profile. This cake has already undergone four re-releases.
Aroma: rich and woody, dense, with a hint of smokiness.
Flavor: balanced, bright, and intense. The profile is woody and nutty, with resinous notes of walnuts, dried fruits, and berries.
Effect: noticeably invigorating, filling with energy and focus.
Production: harvest 2020, pressing March 2021, Linchang County, Yunnan Province, China.
Format: 100-gram cake.
Brewing: any tea ware will do. Warm it up, break off a piece of tea, pour boiling water over it, and enjoy freshly brewed pu-erh in a few minutes. For brewing with infusions, use at least 5-6 grams of tea per 100 ml of boiling water. Rinse the pu-erh and discard the first infusion, then brew with an infusion time starting at 10 seconds. Gradually increase the duration of each subsequent infusion by 5-10 seconds. The pu-erh will withstand at least 6 infusions.
