Refreshing shu pu-erh with a classic flavor from the famous Menghai region.
Produced and pressed exclusively for Art of Tea. The aim was to emphasize the flavors for which Menghai pu-erh is renowned: confectionery notes, creaminess, and sweetness. Through a unique blend of materials from several tea gardens with large tea trees and the expertise of a skilled technologist, we achieved the quintessential Menghai taste, dialed up to the max. The significant inclusion of tea buds in the blend also provides a strong invigorating effect.
Aroma: rich, bready, woody, enveloping.
Flavor and aftertaste: dense, fatty, confectionery, woody-cream, smooth, and juicy. The aftertaste is substantial and sweet. A strong tea with potential for further aging.
Effect: invigorates, warms, and inspires.
Production: fermentation in 2019, pressed in 2021, Menghai County, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China.
